Seven PPSU members from Cempaka Putih Timur Urban Village, Cempaka Putih Sub-district, Central Jakarta have made a mural-painting with the theme of the 76th Independence Day. The mural as long as 12 meters with more than two meters width adorns the parapet of Jalan Ahmad Yani RW 02.

Cempaka Putih Timur Urban Village's Economic and Development Division Head, Fadli said, it was made on Jalan Ahmad Yani, as the location was very strategic that was easily seen by passing people and motorists.
"Previously, similar action was also done at the same location for welcoming the Jakarta's anniversary," he expressed, Monday (8/17).
According to him, it could also be used as a location for taking selfies. Apart from making mural, banners were also installed at the urban village offices, private sectors and neighborhood roads to welcome the upcoming Independence Day.
"Hopefully the Independence Day moment can give people the spirit to fight Covid-19," he hoped.
